My real name is Frederik Ramm. I am a long-time contributor to OSM in Germany and elsewhere. I have worked on a lot of different OSM software, and I was the JOSM maintainer from Imi's departure until Dirk took over. I'm also a regular OSM conference visitor, having participated in all but one of our "State of the Map" conferences and lots of other events.

Together with Jochen Topf, I wrote the world's first book on OSM which is now also available in English. The two of us also founded <a href="http://www.geofabrik.de/">Geofabrik,</a> an all-round OpenStreetMap consultancy and software development firm in Karlsruhe, Germany.

I am a prolific writer on many of OpenStreetMap's Mailing Lists and one of the top-ranked contributors to our <a href="http://help.openstreetmap.org">help system.</a>

I was a member of the board of directors of the OpenStreetMap Foundation from 2012 to 2019, and currently still involved in the Data Working Group.

The OpenStreetMap user <a href="http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/framm">"framm"</a> uses a name that I often use but I don't know who he is.

Mein echter Name ist Frederik Ramm. Ich bin ein altgedienter Mapper in Deutschland und anderswo. Ich habe an verschiedener OSM-Software mitgearbeitet, und ich war der JOSM-Maintainer nach Imis Weggang, bis Dirk den Job uebernommen hat. Ich besuche regelmäßig OSM-Konferenzen; ich habe allen "State of the Map"-Veranstaltungen außer einer und vielen anderen Events teilgenommen.

Zusammen mit Jochen Topf habe ich das weltweit erste OSM-Buch geschrieben, das jetzt auf deutsch und englisch erhältlich ist. Wir haben außerdem die <a href="http://www.geofabrik.de/">Geofabrik</a> gegründet, ein Beratungs- und Software-Entwicklungs-Unternehmen für OpenStreetMap-Anwendungen.

Ich schreibe auf vielen OpenStreetMap-Mailinglisten mit und bin einer der eifrigsten Fragen-Beantworter auf dem <a href="http://help.openstreetmap.org">OSM-Hilfesystem.</a>

Ich war von 2012 bis 2019 im Vorstand der OpenStreetMap Foundation und bin Mitglied der Data Working Group.
